Coexistence, My Ass

Coexistence, My Ass

A film by Amber Fares

Coexistence, My Ass follows Israeli activist-comedian Noam Shuster Eliassi as she builds a one-woman comedy show of the same name, shot across five years as the region deteriorates. Raised in a bilingual Israeli-Palestinian village, the country’s only intentionally integrated community, she loses faith in traditional peace activism and turns to stand-up. The final act deals with October 7, 2023 and the war in Gaza
