“MARIS IS VITAL, SERVING AS A BEACON OF HOPE…”
- Mercury News/East Bay Times
“I AM MARIS is a tender, moving, empowering film every person touched by mental illness – which is to say every person on the planet – needs to see. It’s not so much a story of overcoming mental illness, but of what it means to realize oneself as a whole, integrated, and perfectly imperfect human being who just so happens to experience mental illness. And one who is all the richer, fuller, and more able to serve because of it.”
- Chelsea Roff, Founder and Director of Eat Breathe Thrive
